Our Story

My name is Alison, I am a self taught cake designer / sugar craft artist based in Sutton-at-Hone, Dartford.

In 2009 I started a company called Icingwizard cake toppers to be able to produce picture prints for other cake makers.

I was constantly being asked if I could make the cakes as well, but due to being at work full time I was unable to do so.

I became so busy with the company that in 2011 I decided to leave my job and concentrate on Icingwizard Cake Toppers.  I was still getting asked if I could make the cakes as well, so I started to make some for a few friends and family.

I had been to a few cake shows over the years and in 2015 I decided to enter Cake international London " just for a laugh"  Never expected to win any thing, but I came away with a bronze medal in the wedding cake category!

This gave me the confidence to make more detailed cakes for customers and was the start of Icingwizard Cakes.

I haven't forgotten about my edible prints and do still offer this service along side my cakes, however during busy periods especially wedding season, we may not be printing, so please send us a message to enquire.
